With numerous avenues leading to research careers at Georgia Tech, selecting the right path can be challenging. A new feature series, "Unexpected Paths," delves into the journeys of 12 research faculty members from various departments within the Institute, shedding light on their distinct routes to research.

The current feature highlights Jeonghyun “Jonna” Lee's journey. Her career began as an English language educator in Seoul and evolved into a leadership role within a research team at Georgia Tech’s College of Lifetime Learning.

Lee's story is part of a broader initiative to explore diverse pathways in academia and research at Georgia Tech.
