Atlanta United concluded their preseason with a victory against FC Dallas, marking the end of preparations under new head coach Ronny Deila. The match, held at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground, ended with a 3-2 win for Atlanta United. This was their fifth consecutive unbeaten friendly.

Emmanuel Latte Lath made his debut for Atlanta United after joining from Middlesbrough FC. Head coach Ronny Deila commented on his performance: "He looked good. [He] created chances and worked hard. Good touch on the ball. Very quick as well. He's going to be another asset to our squad."

The game was played under challenging weather conditions, with rain and heavy fog affecting the pitch's condition. The teams played three 45-minute halves.

Injuries have left Atlanta United thin at fullback, with Pedro Amador and Brooks Lennon recovering. Matt Edwards and Ronald Hernández filled in these positions during the match.

Saba Lobjanidze scored twice for Atlanta United, while Miguel Almirón also impressed but missed a chance that hit the crossbar. FC Dallas scored their first goal from a set piece after goalkeeper Brad Guzan misjudged a long kick.

The final period saw more substitutions and changes in play dynamics, including Josh Cohen, Noah Cobb, Stian Gregersen, among others making appearances. Jay Fortune contributed significantly to Atlanta's third goal by setting up Edwin Mosquera.

At full-time, Atlanta United secured a 3-2 victory over FC Dallas. Coach Deila reflected on the match: "It was a tough game," he said. "They were a good team, Dallas, as well... I see things we need to improve, but I have to be happy that we keep winning."

Atlanta United will now prepare for their season opener against CF Montréal at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on February 22.
