Atlanta United has been active in the MLS SuperDraft, making strategic moves to strengthen its squad. The club selected two players with the 53rd and 83rd overall picks and acquired midfielder Mateusz Klich from D.C. United in exchange for their first-round pick.

In a trade involving the 23rd pick, Atlanta United secured Polish midfielder Mateusz Klich from D.C. United. "Klich, 34, came to MLS ahead of the 2023 season after a distinguished career in Europe," noted the team. His consistent performance includes starting 62 of 63 matches over two seasons with six goals and 22 assists.

With their second-round selection at pick number 53, Atlanta chose Ronan Wynne from the University of Denver. Wynne has been a solid player during his college career, starting almost every match and contributing significantly to his team's defense.

The third-round pick saw Atlanta United select William Kulvik from the University of Maryland at number 83. Kulvik's accolades include being named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and earning First Team All-Big Ten honors.

The MLS SuperDraft is structured into three rounds with specific time constraints for each team's selection process. This year marked a change as collegiate sophomores and juniors were included in the draft pool for the first time.
