Atlanta United has been recognized with a Bronze Award in the Design of Apparel/Merchandise category for its Somos Atlanta retail collection at the 2024 Clio Sports Awards. The Clios, presented by Evolution Media, honor innovation and creative excellence in advertising, design, and communication. This prestigious award program began in 1960.

The Somos Atlanta collection pays tribute to the club's and fans' Latin heritage and their influence on both Latin and Atlanta culture. Initially launched in September 2023 during Latin Heritage Month in the United States, the collection included a hoodie, t-shirt, scarf, and snapback hat.

In conjunction with the launch of this collection, Atlanta United shared stories of members who inspire the Latin community. These included players Ronald Hernández and Edwin Mosquera, DJ EU (the club's DJ during home matchdays), and Silvia Cisneros de Rosales from the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground kitchen staff.

In July 2024, coinciding with the CONMEBOL Copa América held in the U.S., Atlanta United released an updated version of the collection. This second part featured an updated hat and scarf with the tagline "¡Viva América, Viva Atlanta!" along with complementary t-shirts and hoodies. Stories were shared about community supporters such as Eddie Segura (Terminus Legion supporter capo) and his son, Daniela Cintrón (journalist at Discover Atlanta), Berny de la Garza (President of Hispanic Young Professional Entrepreneurs of Atlanta), and rapper Kap G.

This accolade marks Atlanta United's third Clio Award win following previous awards in 2022 for their Spirit of 17 Mural project in OOH Advertising and for their Unity Kit design.
