Brad Guzan reached a significant milestone in his soccer career by making his 200th MLS regular season appearance for Atlanta United. The goalkeeper achieved this feat during the team's home opener victory against CF Montréal. Guzan, who spent a considerable part of his career playing in England, is now Atlanta United's most capped player and one of only five players to have participated in at least 100 regular season games.

Reflecting on his journey, Guzan noted the evolution of Major League Soccer since he began playing over a decade ago with Chivas USA. "It's exciting to see where the league's come from, it's exciting to see where we are, and I think most importantly it's exciting to see where the league can go," he said. He expressed enthusiasm about being part of the league's growth and seeing soccer flourish in the United States.

Guzan made his first appearance for Atlanta United on July 21, 2017, against Orlando City, securing a clean sheet with five saves. His tenure with the club includes leading them to win the 2018 MLS Cup and delivering key performances such as his penalty save against CF Montréal in the 2024 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.

Throughout his time with Atlanta United, Guzan has been recognized for his leadership both on and off the field. "It's an honor to be able to represent this club, represent this city," he stated. Guzan considers Atlanta home for himself and his family and continues to cherish representing the club.
