In the 2024 NFL season, the Atlanta Falcons' running back Bijan Robinson emerged as a standout performer. Robinson's contribution was significant, with 1,456 rushing yards placing him third in the league. He averaged 4.8 yards per carry and scored a team-high 15 touchdowns.

Tyler Allgeier also played a crucial role in the Falcons' offense. Despite not starting any games, Allgeier managed to rush for 644 yards. His performance was notable among backup running backs who did not start any games this season.

Robinson and Allgeier excelled after contact, with Robinson ranking third in the league for yards after contact and forcing a league-high 117 missed tackles according to Next Gen Stats. The duo contributed significantly to Atlanta's total of 2,132 rushing yards for the season.

General Manager Terry Fontenot highlighted Robinson's abilities and emphasized managing his workload carefully to ensure his continued development and health. Fontenot remarked on Robinson's dedication to maintaining his physical condition.

The key question for the Falcons moving forward is whether Robinson can sustain such a demanding workload while maintaining his performance levels.
