The Atlanta Falcons secured a victory against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15, ending their four-game losing streak. The game concluded with a final score of 15-9 at Allegiant Stadium.

This win is significant for the Falcons as it improves their overall record to 7-7. Despite the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also winning their Week 15 game, the Falcons remain just one game behind in the NFC South. Atlanta holds a tiebreaker advantage over Tampa Bay, having swept them this season.

The Falcons' defense and special teams were instrumental in this victory. A notable moment occurred during the second quarter when defensive lineman Zach Harrison tackled Raiders running back Alexander Mattison for a safety. Defensive standouts included DeAngelo Malone with two sacks and Kaden Elliss with one sack and 11 tackles. Safety Justin Simmons also contributed with an interception.

Punter Bradley Pinion played a crucial role by pinning multiple punts inside the Raiders' 10-yard line, impacting field position significantly. "Monday's game makes Pinion one of three punters in the NFL this season to have multiple punts downed inside the 5-yard line in a single game."

Wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge managed to disrupt two Raiders punts, one officially counted as a blocked punt, leading to a scoring opportunity for Atlanta.

Falcons running back Bijan Robinson achieved a milestone by surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Drake London extended his streak of prime-time games with receiving touchdowns to five, while Charlie Woerner set a career high in receptions.

Injury updates included Demone Harris and Nate Landman returning after being ruled questionable earlier in the game due to neck injuries.

The quarterback situation for the Raiders saw Desmond Ridder starting against his former team after Aiden O'Connell was listed inactive due to injury concerns.

Looking ahead, the Falcons will host the New York Giants at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Week 16.
