Atlanta United players join national teams for FIFA international window

Seven players from Atlanta United have been called up to represent their national teams during the FIFA international window from November 11-19. The players include Luis Abram, Luke Brennan, Stian Gregersen, Saba Lobjanidze, Alexey Miranchuk, Efraín Morales, and Bartosz Slisz.

These athletes will return in time for Atlanta's next match in the Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs against Orlando City SC on November 24 at Inter&Co Stadium.

Luis Abram has joined Peru for two World Cup qualifiers. Peru faced Chile on November 15 in a match that ended in a goalless draw and will play Argentina on November 19. "Abram will see Lionel Messi fresh off Atlanta United's thrilling upset against the superstar's club team Inter Miami," stated the press release.

Luke Brennan is part of the U.S. Under-20 Men’s Youth National Team training camp in Spain. They are set to play Korea Republic on November 16 and France on November 18.

Stian Gregersen has been called up by Norway for UEFA Nations League matches against Slovenia and Kazakhstan. Norway secured victories over both teams with scores of 4-1 and 5-0 respectively.

Saba Lobjanidze returns to Georgia's national team for games against Ukraine and Czechia. Georgia drew with Ukraine on November 16 and will face Czechia next.

Alexey Miranchuk joins Russia for friendlies against Brunei and Syria.

Efraín Morales earned his first senior call-up to Bolivia's national team for World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay. Bolivia suffered a defeat to Ecuador with a score of 4-0.

Bartosz Slisz represents Poland in UEFA Nations League matches versus Portugal and Scotland. Poland lost to Portugal with a score of 5-1.
