The Atlanta Falcons are set to face the New Orleans Saints for the 112th time this Sunday. The Falcons, currently with a 6-3 record, have seen significant improvement in their offensive performance since their last meeting with the Saints in Week 4. During that encounter, they failed to score an offensive touchdown. However, they now rank as the NFL's sixth team in total yardage.

In contrast, the Saints have struggled throughout the season and hold a 2-7 record. Their difficulties have been exacerbated by numerous injuries and led to the dismissal of head coach Dennis Allen earlier this week. On Wednesday, New Orleans reported 13 players on their injury list, including key offensive players wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) and running back Alvin Kamara (hand). While Kamara fully participated in practice, Olave did not.

The Falcons anticipate positive news on the injury front with potential returns of center Drew Dalman and inside linebacker Troy Andersen. Both were listed as full participants in Wednesday's estimated injury report following a walk-through session. Dalman has been sidelined for six games due to an ankle injury suffered in September. Andersen has not played since being named NFC Defensive Player of the Week during his last game against the Saints but expressed confidence about returning on Sunday.

Expert opinions were divided when these teams last faced off; however, this week predictions are more decisive regarding Sunday's outcome.
