COVID-19 cases are steadily rising at several of Georgia's largest colleges and universities, according to a WSB-TV report.
Over the past two weeks, the University of Georgia, Emory University and Georgia Tech have reported an increase in COVID cases.
Emory University reported that 95.6% of students are vaccinated, with 224 confirmed cases in the past 10 days.

“It does make me feel safer to come here and be able to know we are all vaccinated, especially with the delta variant,” Emory sophomore Phoebe Taiwo told WSB-TV.
The University of Georgia recorded 505 instances in total for the week of Sept. 6, while Georgia State reported 62 cases.
Professor Matthew Boedy of the University of North Georgia expressed doubt on these low numbers, telling WSB-TV, "“The data is so incomplete, and the case counts are so different at these schools we just don’t know; especially if you’re a parent concerned about your kid’s campus, there’s not accurate data and you just know that COVID is going around.”
A University System of Georgia spokesperson confirmed to WSB-TV that the Board of Regents leaves it up to individual schools to choose what COVID-19 data to release.
