Among the positions of interest is cornerback, where Mike Hughes, Dee Alford, Kevin King, and Antonio Hamilton Jr. are all set to become free agents. As the team evaluates its options, several players have emerged as potential targets for next season.

Carlton Davis from the Detroit Lions stands out as a notable candidate. "He was traded to the Detroit Lions at the start of the new league year last offseason," noted an editorial piece on AtlantaFalcons.com. Despite suffering an injury late in the season, Davis remains a high-caliber player who could form a strong tandem with A.J. Terrell.

Kristian Fulton of the Los Angeles Chargers is another prospect being considered by Atlanta. Having previously played for Tennessee Titans before joining the Chargers, Fulton has been recognized as a top-tier college player still within his prime.

Mike Hughes, who spent last season with Atlanta Falcons, also remains a viable option for re-signing due to his impressive performance during 2024. His contributions were instrumental in maintaining one of the league's best defenses against passing plays.

Eric Stokes from Green Bay Packers and Avonte Maddox from Philadelphia Eagles are other names on Atlanta's radar. Stokes offers height and speed but has struggled with injuries in past seasons. Meanwhile, Maddox brings valuable experience from playing over 3,600 snaps in his career despite recent challenges with injuries.
