Atlanta United's 2025 MLS season promises an array of compelling matches, featuring both longstanding rivalries and encounters with formidable opponents. The team will open its season at home against CF Montréal on February 22. "Expect a high-energy atmosphere with a packed Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the 5-Stripes look to kick off the year with a statement win," states the club.

The first away match is scheduled for March 1 against regional rivals Charlotte FC. This rivalry has grown in intensity, with Atlanta United having won their last two visits to Charlotte. Another notable early-season matchup includes hosting New York Red Bulls on March 8, who were the Eastern Conference champions in 2024.

On March 16, Atlanta will face Inter Miami CF at home. This game gains significance due to the presence of Lionel Messi on Miami's roster. "Expect a packed stadium and a high-octane atmosphere for our first Sunday match of the year," highlights Atlanta United.

Spring fixtures include facing FC Dallas on April 5, marking an interconference clash reminiscent of Atlanta's inaugural match at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2017. A heated contest against Orlando City SC follows on April 26, noted for its passionate atmosphere.

May sees six regular-season games starting with Nashville SC at home on May 3. A midweek trip to Austin FC occurs on May 14, marking only their second-ever meeting. On May 28, Orlando visits Atlanta for another anticipated showdown.

In June and July, Atlanta embarks on several away matches including trips to New York City FC and Inter Miami CF. They return home to host Charlotte FC and Seattle Sounders FC in July.

As the playoff race intensifies in August, key matches include an away game against Nashville SC on August 30. September features a home game against San Diego's new MLS team, while October concludes with challenging trips to LAFC and DC United at home.
