The Atlanta Falcons, in collaboration with Truist, have initiated a weekly series aimed at familiarizing fans with the franchise's limited partners. This series will feature Q&A sessions with each of the 11 limited partners over the next several weeks on AtlantaFalcons.com.

This week's installment features Rosalind Brewer, an esteemed corporate executive known for her leadership and initiatives in global business. Brewer currently holds the position of interim president and chair emerita at Spelman College in Atlanta. Her previous roles include serving as president and CEO of Walgreen Boots Alliance, Inc., chief operating officer of Starbucks Corporation, and president and CEO of Sam's Club.

Brewer shared her reasons for becoming a limited partner with the Falcons: "Atlanta has been home for me since the summer of 1980. I have seen the transformation in the Falcons and what joy it brings to our community. I wanted to be part of that commitment to our fans."

Reflecting on her career, she stated: "Being in retail and healthcare over my career, I am most proud of my advocacy for my customers and employees."

When asked about what makes Atlanta unique, Brewer said: "There is no other place in the U.S. like Atlanta! I have lived and traveled to so many cities across this country and nowhere else will you find such a broad perspective on diversity."

Brewer also discussed her philanthropic interests: "I am extremely passionate about education...I am now focusing on K-12 public education through my work with the KIPP Foundation."

In terms of business advice received, Brewer emphasized taking calculated risks while being aware of potential pitfalls.

She cited her father as a significant influence: "My Dad! He worked three jobs just to put the five of us through college...His school of thought: 'Wake up early, sit up front and deliver your best.'"

Her favorite player remains Warrick Dunn — unequivocally.
