Atlanta United 2 will conclude its 2024 season with a match against Philadelphia Union II at Subaru Park on Sunday, Sept. 29. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. ET and will be available for streaming on Apple TV via the MLS Season Pass. Fans can also listen to the Soccer Down Here audio stream.

Philadelphia Union II currently holds second place in the MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference standings with 49 points from a record of 14-8-4. The team aims to surpass FC Cincinnati 2 for first place before the final matchday. Philadelphia has one of the strongest offenses and defenses in the league, having scored 54 goals and sharing a +18 goal differential with Western Conference leaders North Texas SC. Forward Edward Davis leads Philadelphia's attack with 13 goals, 60 shots, and 13 shots on target.

In their last outing, Atlanta United 2 suffered a narrow defeat at home against Inter Miami CF II, losing 1-0 on Tuesday night. Despite dominating much of the game, Atlanta conceded in the 32nd minute when Nykolas Sessock assisted Ryan Carmichael, who chipped over Jayden Hibbert for the only goal of the match. Atlanta had a late chance to equalize when Noble Okello passed to Nick Firmino, but Miami’s goalkeeper made a crucial save.

Historically, Atlanta United 2 has struggled against Philadelphia Union II, holding a record of one win, two losses, and no draws. Their most recent encounter resulted in a heavy 5-0 loss for Atlanta on April 15 at Fifth Third Stadium.
