Atlanta United's Unified Team traveled to Carson, California, where they secured a 3-2 victory against the Los Angeles Galaxy's Unified team. This win marks their second consecutive victory of the season, following their initial triumph over Nashville SC's Unified team with a 2-0 score at GEODIS Park on May 18.

The next game for Atlanta United's Unified team is scheduled against Nashville's Unified team once again, this time at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The match will take place immediately after Atlanta United and Nashville SC face off on Saturday, September 14. Fans attending the primary match can stay to support the Unified team, while those not present can watch via live stream.

The Atlanta United Unified Team, presented by Gallagher, comprises athletes with intellectual disabilities and partners without such disabilities. They play soccer inclusively and receive professional treatment throughout the year in terms of training, travel, and media coverage. The team's connection to Atlanta United’s first team includes players serving as First Team Unified Ambassadors. This year’s ambassadors are Brad Guzan and Tyler Wolff.
