Falcons announce initial 53-man roster for the 2024 season

The Atlanta Falcons have announced their initial 53-man roster for the 2024 season, finalizing the list by the NFL's 4 p.m. ET deadline on Tuesday. The roster includes 24 offensive players, 26 defensive players, and three special teams players.

The full roster is as follows:

In preparation for this announcement, the Falcons had already released 13 players last Sunday to bring their roster count to 77 by Tuesday. This required processing another 24 transactions before the deadline. They released 21 players, waived/injured two others, and placed one on reserve/injured but designated to return.

Atlanta also released its international player, who did not count toward the 90-man training camp roster.
