The summer transfer window is open, and Atlanta United has significant funds available for new acquisitions. With the three recent roster rule changes announced by the league, Atlanta United has increased flexibility to enhance their team.

The secondary transfer window officially runs from July 18 to August 14. During this period, Atlanta United can request the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) of a player under contract in another country. While deals may be agreed upon outside these windows, the transfer and receipt of an ITC are necessary to officially add a player to a roster, making him eligible for official competitions.

Following the departures of Giorgos Giakoumakis and Thiago Almada, Atlanta United has several positions to fill. Here are the latest updates from the summer transfer window:

OUTBOUND: Caleb Wiley

Caleb Wiley's departure was announced on July 22, marking a significant milestone for one of the most successful Homegrown players in franchise history. Wiley began his career at 11 years old as part of the inaugural Atlanta United Academy class. He now leaves his hometown to pursue his dream of playing in Europe. His journey is a testament to both his hard work and Atlanta United's development system.
