Atlanta United 2 announced today that it has exercised its option to extend the contract of defender Ethan Dudley through the 2024 season. Dudley initially signed a two-month contract with ATL UTD 2 on May 16.
Since joining Atlanta, Dudley has appeared in seven matches, making four starts, and registering one assist along with six shots. The former Northwestern standout joined ATL UTD 2 after spending the 2023 season with Eastern Conference champions Crown Legacy FC before signing with Union Omaha (USL League One) for its playoff run.
Atlanta United 2 (3-8-4, 15 points) returns to the road as the team takes on Crown Legacy FC at Sportsplex at Matthews on Sunday, July 21 (5:00 p.m. ET, Apple TV - MLS Season Pass, Soccer Down Here).
