Atlanta United will wear the Resurgens Kit in their midweek match against D.C. United, marking the first of back-to-back road games for the 5-Stripes. Following this game, they will face St. Louis CITY SC on Saturday.

This match is Atlanta United's first since striker Giorgos Giakoumakis transferred to Cruz Azul in Liga MX. Giakoumakis, who scored 24 goals in all competitions in 2023, will be missed by the team.

June 19th, Juneteenth, celebrates the end of enslavement in the United States. To honor this day, Atlanta United launched the Legacy Collection and will wear a special patch on their jerseys during Wednesday's match.

The match details are as follows:

- Date: Wednesday, June 19

- Kickoff time: 7:30 p.m.

- Location: Audi Field

Fans traveling to Washington D.C. can refer to the Traveling Supporters Guide while those staying in Atlanta can watch at local pubs with fellow supporters.

The game will be available for free on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Local radio coverage includes 92.9 The Game and La Mejor. Live streaming is also available through MLS Season Pass on Apple TV or via https://tv.apple.com/. Realtime stats and live play-by-play can be followed on the Matchday Hub page.

In terms of series history, Atlanta United leads with a record of 9-7-1 (W-L-D) and has won five out of seven previous meetings against D.C. United. Their last encounter earlier this season saw five goals scored but ended with D.C. United taking three points at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Atlanta United enters this double match week sitting 13th in the Eastern Conference table but is just three points behind Philadelphia Union in eighth place. Points earned on the road could significantly boost their standings.

D.C. United has struggled since their win at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on May 11, going winless since then and most recently losing to Charlotte FC at Bank of America Stadium.

Key players to watch include Xande Silva from Atlanta United and Christian Benteke from D.C. United. Silva recently scored an impressive goal against Houston Dynamo and has two goals in his last two matches. Benteke remains a significant threat for D.C., having scored a hat trick earlier this year against Atlanta and currently sits three goals behind Golden Boot leader Cristian Arango of Real Salt Lake with a total of 13 goals this season.
