City of Atlanta to Observe Administrative Holiday on July 3

ATLANTA — The City of Atlanta will observe an Administrative Holiday on July 3 in advance of the Independence Day holiday, pursuant to an Executive Order issued by Mayor Andre Dickens.

City of Atlanta facilities will be closed to the public beginning Friday, June 30, at noon, and reopen on Wednesday, July 5. Employees deemed essential for public safety or operational needs will report to work.

Per the Mayor’s Executive Order, the Administrative Holiday is being declared “in recognition of the many accomplishments and exceptional work of City employees during Fiscal Year 2023.”

The Atlanta City Council intends to reschedule its scheduled July 3 meeting to July 5.
