Georgia Chamber Endorses Sam Watson in State Senate District 11 Special Election

The Georgia Chamber of Commerce announces its endorsement of Sam Watson in the special election for State Senate District 11, which includes Brooks, Colquitt, Cook, Decatur, Grady, Seminole and Thomas Counties. Each election cycle, the Chamber’s Political Affairs Council vets dozens of candidates for office.  After working through the endorsement process, business leaders from across the state are confident that Mr. Watson will continue to make effective policy decisions that positively impact free enterprise and job creation throughout the state.

“The Georgia Chamber of Commerce and our statewide membership appreciate Sam Watson’s lifetime A+ record with the statewide business community as a former member of the Georgia House. Moreover, his experience as a small business owner and farmer in his community will help bring an invaluable perspective to the State Senate. We know there is a clear choice in who will champion economic opportunities not only for South Georgia, but also for all citizens throughout our state” said David Raynor, Georgia Chamber Chief Public Affairs Officer. “The Georgia Chamber is proud to endorse pro-business candidates like Sam Watson and looks forward to continuing our great working relationship if elected.”
