Cost of college went up for all students at the SAE Institute of Technology-Atlanta

Tuition and fees rose 51.1 percent for 2018-19 at the SAE Institute of Technology-Atlanta, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $32,035 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $10,835 more than the $21,200 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 85 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 467 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.4 million and 467 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.2 million.

Including all undergraduates (726), 723 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.2 million, and 675 students took out $2.9 million in federal student loans.
