Atlanta Metropolitan State College enrolls 2,187 undergrads

At Atlanta Metropolitan State College, 64 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 66 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Atlanta enrolled 2,187 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 13.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

92 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 6 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (90 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (4 percent).
