Will Reilly is set to make his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut with Atlanta United against FC Cincinnati on Saturday. The Homegrown midfielder earned a first-team contract this offseason after performing well with Atlanta United 2 and at Stanford.

Eight players from the team are unavailable due to international duty, affecting the lineup for the match. Reilly will play in defensive midfield alongside Tristan Muyumba, who is starting for the third consecutive game. Head coach Ronny Deila had anticipated changes in defense, with Matt Edwards confirmed as right center back. Edwards has played every game this season, primarily as a right back.

Xande Silva will start in place of Miguel Almirón, who is representing Paraguay internationally. Silva will play on the left, moving Saba Lobjanidze to the right side of the attack. This marks Silva's first start since September 2024.

The starting XI includes Brad Guzan as captain, Brooks Lennon, Derrick Williams, Matt Edwards, Pedro Amador, Tristan Muyumba, Will Reilly, Alexey Miranchuk, Xande Silva, Saba Lobjanidze, and Emmanuel Latte Lath. Reserves include Josh Cohen and others.

Match notes highlight that Atlanta United has a history of five wins against FC Cincinnati out of 14 matches played in MLS. Both teams have scored four goals and conceded six this season so far. Brooks Lennon is one assist away from breaking Atlanta United's all-time assists record.

Reilly's debut comes after his last appearance for Atlanta United 2 earlier this month. Xande Silva's inclusion marks his first start this season after appearing as a substitute in previous games.

Cayman Togashi seeks his first goal for Atlanta United and aims to reach 50 career goals overall. He has made one appearance off the bench this season.

Three players from Atlanta United 2 have signed Short-Term Agreements to join reserves: Cooper Sanchez (No. 48), Nyk Sessock (No. 66), and Rodrigo Neri (No. 77). They may make their MLS debuts during Saturday's match.
