Miguel Almirón, a key player in Atlanta United's 2018 MLS Cup victory, is set to return to Mercedes-Benz Stadium wearing his familiar No. 10 jersey after spending six seasons abroad.
The club announced that many returning players will retain their previous numbers, though there are notable changes. Xande Silva has switched from No. 16 to No. 45, while Luis Abram has moved from No. 4 to No. 44. Bartosz Slisz will now wear the iconic number 99.
These changes come as part of "The Connector," the team's latest kit featuring gold numbers, which will debut at the home opener on Saturday.
