The Atlanta Falcons have announced updates regarding player statuses ahead of their Week 14 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro has been ruled out due to an ankle injury. Orhorhoro, who was injured during a Week 8 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, had been on injured reserve since November 1. He returned to practice this week, but his status was downgraded from questionable to out.

Orhorhoro, a second-round draft pick for the Falcons, has played in four games this season as a rookie, participating in 63 defensive snaps and 19 special teams snaps with five tackles recorded.

Wide receiver Casey Washington will also miss Sunday's game after being ruled out with a concussion. Washington, drafted in the sixth round, has appeared in eight games this season. He has participated in nine offensive snaps and 47 special teams snaps and caught one pass for 14 yards during a Week 7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

In related news, wide receiver Chris Blair has been elevated from the practice squad for Week 14. This marks Blair's third elevation this season under league rules allowing up to two practice squad elevations per game with each player limited to three elevations before requiring an active roster signing.

Blair participated in six special teams snaps during the Falcons' Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and was elevated again for Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints without playing time.

The upcoming Falcons-Vikings game is scheduled for Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium at 1 p.m. ET with live coverage by FOX.
