Atlanta United has announced the transfer of midfielder Santiago Sosa to Racing Club, a team in the Argentine Primera Division. The terms of the transfer include an undisclosed fee.
Sosa, who spent the 2024 season on loan with Racing Club, made 48 appearances across all competitions and contributed to the team's victory in the 2024 Copa Sudamericana. The 25-year-old initially joined Atlanta United in 2021 as part of a U-22 initiative signing. During his tenure with Atlanta, he played in 70 matches and achieved one goal and one assist over three seasons.
The official transaction states: "Atlanta United transfers midfielder Santiago Sosa to Racing Club for an undisclosed transfer fee on Dec. 6, 2024."
