The Atlanta Falcons have elevated two defenders, Demone Harris and Natrone Brooks, from their practice squad for the upcoming game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This marks the second consecutive week that both players have been moved to the active roster.

Harris participated in 43% of the defensive snaps during last week's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, recording one quarterback hurry. Brooks contributed by playing 16 special teams snaps.

The Falcons are set to face the Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. The team's history of practice squad elevations this season includes Kevin King and Chris Blair in Week 1, Dane Cruikshank in Week 2, Matt Hennessy multiple times, and Josh Woods alongside Hennessy in Week 5.

NFL rules allow teams to elevate up to two practice squad players per game, with each player eligible for elevation a maximum of three times before requiring a spot on the active roster for further participation.

The Falcons will announce their inactive list 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday. The status of starters Justin Simmons and Ryan Neuzil will be clarified then. Simmons is doubtful due to a hamstring injury, while Neuzil is questionable with a knee issue.
