The Atlanta Falcons, in collaboration with Truist, have launched a weekly series aimed at introducing fans to the limited partners of the franchise. Over the course of 11 weeks, AtlantaFalcons.com will feature Q&A sessions with each of the 11 limited partners. These interviews cover topics ranging from business advice to memorable moments related to the Falcons.

This week’s spotlight is on Brian Barker, owner and CEO of AFS, a domestic freight forwarding company based in Shreveport, Louisiana. Barker also supports communities in Destin, Florida, and Park City, Utah, where he resides with his wife Kathi and their three adult children: Brian, Jacob, and Amanda.

When asked about his motivation for becoming a limited partner with the Atlanta Falcons, Barker said: "My passion for football and drive to win played a significant role in my decision. While the investment aspect is a given, the opportunity to be part of the Atlanta Falcons and the NFL is a remarkable blessing. Along the way, I've forged many connections and friendships, but it was a special invitation from Arthur (Blank) that truly made this opportunity possible."

Reflecting on his favorite memory associated with the Falcons, Barker highlighted the 2016 season: "It's hard to beat the 2016 season... Watching the Falcons perform at such a high level... What I cherish most is sharing that experience with my son."

In discussing his career achievements, Barker expressed pride in his perseverance: "I am most proud of my perseverance and my refusal to accept 'no' as an answer."

Barker's philanthropic efforts are inspired by his father: "Inspired by my father, Jerry Barker... We are particularly passionate about supporting Calvary Academy... It has been rewarding for Kathi and I to see their sports program thrive..."

He cites several personal influences: "My parents have been my greatest influences — always supportive and encouraging... Additionally, Ben Townsend... has been a mentor... My wife Kathi has always been my steadfast support."

Finally, when asked about his favorite player of all time, Barker named Matt Ryan for his leadership both on and off the field.
