Atlanta United will travel to Subaru Park to face Philadelphia Union on Saturday, September 28. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be watched on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV or listened to on local radio stations 92.9 The Game and La Mejor.

Interim head coach Rob Valentino commented on the team's preparation amid concerns about Hurricane Helene. "At the moment, we're keeping everything on schedule... We can't make a plan without knowing what exactly's going on. Like everything, we just approach it as it comes," he said Thursday.

Atlanta United recently drew 2-2 against New York Red Bulls, with goalkeeper Brad Guzan making a season-high eight saves. The team currently stands in 11th place in the Eastern Conference, three points below the playoff line held by Philadelphia Union in ninth place.

Saturday's match is crucial for both teams as they vie for playoff spots. Philadelphia Union has 36 points, while Atlanta United has 33 points. With four matches remaining in Atlanta's season, nine Eastern clubs are within a ten-point range of each other.

The last encounter between these two teams ended in a draw earlier this season when Daniel Ríos and Caleb Wiley scored for Atlanta before Philadelphia equalized with two goals in four minutes.

Key players to watch include Brad Guzan for Atlanta United and Quinn Sullivan for Philadelphia Union. Guzan's recent performance earned him a spot on the MLS Team of the Matchday after his eight-save effort against New York Red Bulls. Sullivan also made the Team of the Matchday with two assists in Philadelphia's 4-0 win over D.C. United.
