Fulton County could have 9 inmates finishing their sentence during February

The sentences of nine inmates in Fulton County could be completed in February, releasing them from the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections.

These inmates have a maximum possible release date that falls in February. The State considers these dates as when the longest-running sentence with time served for a criminal is set to expire. The actual release date of those incarcerated in Georgia jails could happen earlier due to the inmate being granted clemency.

The inmate who could be released during February who served the longest amount of time was Bobby Joe Wehunt for Armed Robbery. Bobby Joe Wehunt spent more than 20 years incarcerated.
