March is for historic preservation!! St. Mark AME in English Avenue has been designated a landmark site by the City. My office worked with the Atlanta Preservation Center, Pastor Winston Taylor, Mother Mamie Moore the Georgia Tech School of Architecture, and my colleague Michael Julian Bond to make this dream a reality. This is just the first step in reshaping this corner focused on culture.
