We are excited to announce that Ms. Danyale Williams has been selected as the 1st Runner Up at the Dinah Culbreath Wayne EAGLE Leadership Institute.
The Leadership Institute recognizes and honors those students who have demonstrated superior achievement in adult education classes and high school equivalency programs.
Ms. Williams is a graduate of the Adult Education program at Atlanta Technical College and is working toward a career in nursing. She is currently enrolled in her prerequisites in order to apply for the Nursing Program at the College.
Her nominating instructor for this award was Mr. Elridge McMillan. Joining Danyale in celebration were her mother, Danyale White, ATC President Dr. Victoria Seals, Dr. Monique Brown, Dr. Michelle Jackson, and partners from the City of Refuge, Inc.
“The Adult Ed. team couldn’t be more proud to celebrate our local EAGLE Winner and State Runner-up Danyale Williams. We’ve witnessed her transformation while on her personal and educational journey and she is the epitome of perseverance and a model student. Her story and success are a testament to the indelible impact of adult literacy in the state of Georgia,” said Dr. Monique Brown, MSM, Ed.D., Dean of Adult Education.
