How many inmates sentenced to serve in Dekalb County will be released during Q4?

There are 14 inmates sentenced to jail in Dekalb County who will be released from the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections during the fourth quarter of 2022.

The inmate being released serving the longest sentence is Demetrice Deontay Dodson for Armed Robbery. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Georgia imprisons a higher percentage of its population than any other democracy in the world, locking up 968 per 100,000 people.

State’s spend between $25,000 and $30,000 on average annually on incarcerated individuals.
