After water issues occurred at several Fulton County facilities during extreme freezing temperatures last week, almost all facilities will reopen on Tuesday, January 3.

Repair work is continuing at four Fulton County facilities that experienced more severe water damage, including:

• Milton Library
• Dr. Robert E. Fulton Library at Ocee
• Hapeville Senior Center
• Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility
Contractors have worked over the holiday weekend with the goal of safely welcoming residents as soon as possible.

Fulton County Library staff have been in contact with library patrons with book holds at the Milton and Ocee Libraries. Held materials have made been available at other library branches in North Fulton. Residents may also access services at any of the other 32 libraries in the Fulton County Library system. For a full listing of branches and hours, log on to www.fulcolibrary.org.

Department of Senior Services staff have also been working with participants at the affected senior centers. Seniors and caregivers may contact the Fulton County STAR Line for additional information at 404-613-6000 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
