Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss is being sued after a 2020 Valentine's Day shooting that took place at her Atlanta restaurant left three injured, a recent report from FOX 5 Atlanta said.

In an Instagram statement following the incident, Burruss expressed remorse over the incident that occurred at her restaurant named Old Lady Gang.

"As African-American business owners, it has been our goal to invest in our community by bringing jobs, quality dining, and a positive experience to the greater Atlanta area; we hope that you know and understand that the acts of violence that occurred yesterday evening do not, in any way, serve as a reflection of OLG or its values," Burruss wrote in her Instagram post at that time.

Dashcam footage of the shooting showed a man in a black vehicle pulling up to the restaurant, the FOX 5 report said. A man in a jumpsuit got out and walked directly into the restaurant where he opened fire, sending patrons in the eatery rushing for the streets.

East Point Police noted that in addition to hitting the man he appeared to be aiming for, the gunman also struck two other innocent bystanders, including a teenage girl, before fleeing from the scene in the same vehicle and remaining on the run to this day.

Filed by Kiya Humphries on behalf of herself and her daughter Tammy Johnson, the suit asserts the two victims were waiting to be seated when the mayhem broke out; the FOX 5 report said. Johnson required multiple surgeries, therapy and counseling in the aftermath.
