Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins is out of action following a sprained right foot and has had to sit out the three games leading to the All-Star Game break.
Collins sprained his right foot, confirmed by an MRI, during the Hawks' recent 136-121 loss against the San Antonio Spurs, ESPN reported.
"Following a period of rest, treatment and daily monitoring this week and throughout the All-Star break, his status will be updated as appropriate," the Hawks reported in a release.
Collins is currently sitting at 16.8 points and 7.9 rebounds on average for this season, ESPN reported.
Collins was forced to miss the Hawks' games against the Boston Celtics, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic.
The Hawks' first game after the All-Star Game break is Feb. 24 in Chicago against the Bulls, ESPN reported. It's unclear whether Collins will be participating in the game.
