CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY: President French Homecoming 2021 Message

Announcement2

Clark Atlanta University issued the following announcement on July 10.

Dear Panther Nation,

Thank you for your tireless support of Clark Atlanta University and the bright young minds we serve.

We are undoubtedly excited about our Clark Atlanta University (CAU) family having the opportunity to share in each other’s company to experience the nostalgia and energy of Homecoming 2021, especially after experiencing more than a year of a global pandemic.

Homecoming is a time where all who love our beloved CAU come back to campus to reminisce on fun times, share stories, and reconnect as a family and old friends.

This year, we are thrilled to do all of the above. However, due to the recent promotion of several events that will directly impact the Atlanta University Center, the University recommendation in consultation with alumni leadership from across the country is to move the date to Saturday, October 30, 2021.

New Homecoming Week 2021 updates regarding specific activities including (Tailgating) will be provided by Friday, July 16, 2021.

I would like to thank the National Alumni Association leadership for their in depth discussion and support of the recommended date change. Questions or comments regarding Homecoming 2021 may be sent to alumni@cau.edu.

Again, thank you for your tireless support of our exceptional university and look forward to seeing you in October!

Yours in Service,

George T. French Jr., Ph.D.

President
