Cost of college went up for all students at Herzing University-Atlanta

Tuition and fees rose 1.1 percent for 2018-19 at Herzing University-Atlanta, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $14,000 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $150 more than the $13,850 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 88 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 20 students received grants or scholarships totaling $124,008 and 15 students took out student loans totaling more than $130,405.

Including all undergraduates (762), 541 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.9 million, and 495 students took out $4.7 million in federal student loans.
