96 percent of applicants to Herzing University-Atlanta were admitted for fall 2018

At Herzing University-Atlanta, 79 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 79 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Atlanta enrolled 762 students in fall 2018, including 695 in undergraduate and 67 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

95 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 3 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (70 percent) and white (10 percent).

The school admitted 96 percent of the 135 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 45 percent enrolled.
