On Saturday, Nov. 15, the Benedict Tigers, featuring former Benjamin E. Mays High School standout Triston Morgan, were defeated 22-16 by the Albany State Golden Rams in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The contest was held at ASU Coliseum at 1 p.m., marking the first tournament meeting between the Benedict Tigers and the Albany State Golden Rams.

The Benedict Tigers are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m. at Irwin Belk Stadium.
