Training has concluded for the day, but Miguel Almirón and Brad Guzan remain on the pitch, discussing strategies and visualizing plays. These seasoned players are focused on improving continuously.

The arrival of Almirón and Emmanuel Latte Lath at Atlanta United has generated optimism for the 2025 season. The team's potential is promising as they prepare for their home opener against CF Montréal, scheduled for Saturday, February 22nd at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

After a recent training session, Saba Lobjanidze and Mateusz Klich spoke to the media about the impact of these new additions to the team. They emphasized how Almirón's return could energize both fans and teammates. "Miggy is an unbelievable player with a lot of experience," said Saba. "He came from the best league in the world."

Almirón's style of play is noted for its quickness and precision, which inspires confidence among those around him. His ability to handle pressure is seen as a significant asset against teams employing aggressive pressing tactics.

In addition to Almirón, Emmanuel Latte Lath's speed has caught attention during training sessions. His past performance at Middlesbrough FC suggests he could be a valuable goal scorer for Atlanta United. "I hope he will continue like that in Atlanta," remarked Saba.

Klich praised Latte Lath's adaptability to Atlanta United’s playing style: "Manu can jump, he can score a couple of good headers." Despite his limited time with the team, Latte Lath is quickly adjusting.

The team anticipates increasing their goal tally from last year's 46 goals with contributions from returning players like Alexey Miranchuk alongside new signings. Head coach Ronny Deila emphasizes chemistry among attacking players during training drills.

"Chemistry is really nice because we are good players and we can understand our skills," stated Saba regarding team dynamics.

Ultimately, Klich highlighted that success relies on teamwork: "It's not an individual sport... Other people can score goals."
