Head coach Raheem Morris had already ruled out inside linebacker Troy Andersen for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. This decision was confirmed when the inactives list was released 90 minutes before kickoff. Andersen is recovering from a knee injury.

The inactives list highlights not only those who are sidelined but also those returning to play. Inside linebacker Nate Landman has been activated off injured reserve and will be available for the first time since Week 1.

Rookie defensive lineman Ruke Orhorhoro remains active for Atlanta, resulting in Kentavius Street being inactive. Orhorhoro made his debut during the Falcons' overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, contributing notably to run support. His role could be crucial as the Falcons face Chuba Hubbard, who has averaged 105 rushing yards per game in recent matches.

The full list of Falcons' inactives includes:

- RB Jase McClellan

- LB Troy Andersen

- DL Brandon Dorlus

- OL Jovaughn Gwyn

- OL Elijah Wilkinson

- T Brandon Parker

- DL Kentavius Street
