The Atlanta Falcons announced several roster changes ahead of their Week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers. Inside linebacker Nate Landman has been activated from the reserve/injured list. Landman, who had been on injured reserve since September 16 due to quad and calf injuries, was designated to return earlier this week.

Landman's return is timely for the Falcons as inside linebacker Troy Andersen will miss Sunday's game because of a knee injury.

In addition to Landman's activation, cornerback Kevin King has been signed to the practice squad, while linebacker Rashaan Evans has been released. King was released by the team on Friday but returns as a standard practice squad elevation for Sunday's game along with offensive lineman Matt Hennessy. This marks King's second elevation and Hennessy's third.

Kevin King, who previously played for the Green Bay Packers from 2017-21, took personal time off in 2022 and missed the 2023 season due to injury. He has appeared in five games for the Falcons this season, contributing three tackles over five defensive and 41 special teams snaps.

Matt Hennessy, a third-round draft pick in 2020, has played in 41 games with 22 starts through his career but hasn't taken any snaps in 2024 despite three previous elevations.

The matchup between the Falcons and Panthers is set for Sunday at Bank of America Stadium at 4:25 p.m. ET.

Previous practice squad elevations this year include:

- Week 1: cornerback Kevin King and wide receiver Chris Blair

- Week 2: safety Dane Cruikshank

- Week 3: none

- Week 4: offensive lineman Matt Hennessy

- Week 5: offensive lineman Matt Hennessy and inside linebacker Josh Woods

Teams are allowed to elevate up to two practice squad players per game, with each player eligible for elevation a maximum of three times before requiring an active roster spot if elevated again.
