Atlanta United 2 returns to Fifth Third Stadium on Friday, Aug. 23, to face off against Orlando City B. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be streamed on Apple TV – MLS Season Pass. Fans can also tune in to the Soccer Down Here audio stream.

Orlando City B enters the match just above Atlanta in the MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference standings, sitting in 10th place with 31 points (6-6-9 record) and a +4 goal differential. Orlando is currently riding a three-match unbeaten streak, most recently defeating NYCFC II at home. The Orlando offense is led by forward Shakur Mohammed, who leads the team in goals (nine), shots (50), and shots on target (20). Alexander Freeman and Yutaro Tsukada, who recently inked a First Team contract with Orlando City SC, are tied in assists with five apiece.

ATL UTD 2 continued its four-match unbeaten streak in a gritty 1-1 draw and 4-3 penalty shootout win at Inter Miami CF II on Sunday, Aug. 18. Jayden Hibbert recorded a club record of 13 saves while captain Javier Armas scored the lone goal for ATL UTD 2. The home side controlled most of the match which forced Atlanta to stay on the defensive side of the ball for the majority of the contest. Armas put ATL UTD 2 on the scoresheet first after getting on the end of a free kick sent in by Matías Gallardo, scoring with a one-time finish in the 54th minute. Miami pulled one back in the 63rd after chaos in Atlanta’s box saw the ball land at Ian Fray's feet, who tapped in a shot to equalize. In the shootout, Atlanta converted four of its five penalties while Miami had its second attempt saved and missed the target on its final shot.

Atlanta United 2 holds a 1-2-2 (W-L-D) all-time record against Orlando City B. The last matchup between the two sides ended in a 2-2 road draw on June 26, with Orlando walking away with an extra point in the penalty shootout. Nick Firmino and Karim Tmimi each scored for Atlanta.
