The Falcons have released their final depth chart of the preseason, marking the last update before Atlanta must meet the league's 53-man roster requirement on August 27.

Among the notable additions to the depth chart are outside linebacker Matthew Judon and safety Justin Simmons. Both players participated in their first practice with the team on Monday but engaged in limited activity as they acclimate to their new environment. Judon and Simmons are currently listed as second-team players behind Arnold Ebiketie and Richie Grant, respectively.

Atlanta has one remaining preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which will be their first exhibition game at home. This provides an additional incentive for roster hopefuls to deliver strong performances. Head coach Raheem Morris opted to rest a significant number of offensive and defensive starters in the team's second preseason game against Baltimore, with no indication that this approach will change for Friday's game.

There are ongoing competitive battles among reserve players on the offensive line, wide receiver, and cornerback positions. While these players may be lower on the depth chart, their performances could influence final roster decisions.
