With the first MLS match since July 20 approaching, Atlanta United is preparing for the final nine matches of the season. The team will travel to California to face the L.A. Galaxy on August 24.

Tuesday’s practice coincided with Supporters Day for Atlanta United, allowing a group of fans known as the "17s" to visit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground. They had the opportunity to watch practice and interact with players.

Interim Head Coach Rob Valentino addressed the crowd before training, expressing appreciation for their support. “We are a representation of what you guys bring,” said Valentino, encouraging fans to cheer loudly for the team.

The practice also marked the debut of newly signed designated player Alexey Miranchuk. The Russian midfielder was acquired from Atalanta BC during the secondary transfer window.

Miranchuk expressed his gratitude at his introductory press conference. "Thanks to everyone who came," he said. "I think it is great to show the supporters what is going on behind the scenes."
