Their next MLS match is scheduled for August 24, but they will face D.C. United in the first round of the Leagues Cup on July 26.

The match details are as follows:

- Date: July 20, 2024

After several double matchdays on the road, Atlanta United will play their next four games at home, including two Leagues Cup matches. On Wednesday, Atlanta had one of their best first-half starts this season but allowed NYCFC to come back and tie the match. The team currently holds a record of 6-11-7.

Columbus Crew remains one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference with 43 points and sits third in the standings. They are also hosting next week's All-Star festivities.

Historically, Atlanta United has faced Columbus Crew 20 times, holding an all-time record of 6-10-3 against them in regular season and postseason play. Their last meeting was in February when Columbus secured a narrow 1-0 victory.

Key players to watch include Saba Lobjanidze for Atlanta United, who has returned strong after missing most of June due to international duty with Georgia. He ties with Ríos for a club-leading six goals this season. For Columbus Crew, Juan ‘Cucho’ Hernández stands out with 13 goals this season and was recently named winner of MLS Goal of the Matchday for Matchday 26.
