ATLANTA – DeKalb County House Delegation Chair Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates) and Vice Chair Viola Davis (D-Stone Mountain), along with members of the DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation, will host DeKalb County Day on Monday, March 4, 2024 at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta.

The event will see the DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation presenting House Resolution 1269, which aims to designate March 4, 2024, as DeKalb County Day at the State Capitol.

The DeKalb County Day will take place at the Georgia State Capitol located at 206 Washington Street S.W., Atlanta, GA 30334. The delegation, led by Chair Karla Drenner and Vice Chair Viola Davis, invites members of the community to participate in this special occasion.

This initiative underscores the importance of recognizing and celebrating the contributions and achievements of DeKalb County within the state of Georgia.
