"The new board members bring diverse expertise and life experiences that will strengthen the Clean Energy Advisory Board and accelerate execution of the City’s climate action agenda," said Mayor Dickens. "Together, we will work with an intentional focus on our city’s most overburdened neighborhoods to ensure our clean energy strategy is anchored in racial equity and environmental justice."
Chandra Farley, Chief Sustainability Officer, expressed her excitement about the new appointments, stating, "I am thrilled to welcome these newly appointed members of the community-led, Clean Energy Advisory Board. We have an outstanding board that continues to guide implementation of Clean Energy Atlanta while also playing a crucial role in building Atlanta’s community and data-driven Climate Resilience ‘Action’ Plan which will launch later this year."
